The perfect solution for experiencing the medieval village. La Loggetta is a two-level studio located inside a charming medieval building in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We are in Lugnano in Teverina, in Umbria, in the province of Terni, a village at 440 meters above sea level with a breathtaking 180° view of the Tiber Valley (see cover photo). The village is easily accessible from the A1 motorway, Attigliano exit. For the little house, we wanted to preserve its medieval character, with rooms that adapt to the shape of the building, exposed beam ceilings, non-linear walls, terracotta floors, and tried to make it as comfortable as possible, equipping it with everything necessary for a holiday stay. Large living area with kitchenette (equipped), sleeping area with double bed, a loft with a single bed, and a small bathroom located at the end of the building with a floor-level shower. Due to the layout, the entire bathroom becomes a shower cubicle and the bidet is integrated into the toilet. Ideal for 2 people, but an extra single bed is also available (with supplement). The price includes electricity and water consumption, bed linen and bath towels with weekly change, and an equipped kitchenette. However, heating/air conditioning costs, mandatory final cleaning, and a security deposit are not included (see specific conditions). Lugnano in Teverina is a medieval village that has preserved its original elliptical shape with concentric circles inside the city walls. This means that it is situated on different levels and each level is connected to the next by characteristic stairs or charming covered passages. That's why almost the entire village is closed to vehicular traffic! The area where the little house is located is not completely pedestrian, but traffic is almost non-existent. Within a few minutes' walk from the little house, you will find the most important services such as the post office, bank, pharmacy, newsstand, bar, pizzeria, and grocery store. However, supermarkets are located in the newer part of town, about 700 meters away. Parking is free, with the closest parking spaces at 150 meters and the furthest at 350 meters. The communal swimming pool, open during the summer, is 150 meters away and can be reached on foot. We provide you with towels and swimming caps (obligatory) for free! We do not live in the building, so it is NECESSARY to schedule an appointment in advance for check-in and check-out during the indicated times. Your four-legged friends are welcome up to a medium size (and only one, the little house is small), and by paying the supplement for them, you will help a local association that takes care of abandoned animals (Gattiecani-org).
